What are pesticides and why are they used?
Pesticides are simply chemicals used to prevent the occurrence of animals in an area. These chemicals kill/ get rid of organisms such as weeds from occurring in the area of which is used to grow foods( usually.) Also these chemicals may and can be very dangerous to human beings, but are still used. Any major farm uses pesticides because simply it costs less to have a plane fly over a couple of acres of land sparing chemicals than having people work 24/7 in the fields. Plus there has been a law passed down that prevents an major plantation of using pesticides while having human workers, so major corporations keep the technique that conserves them money, in this case pesticides. More and more corporations are using pesticides everyday.
Pesticides after Generations
Even though pesticides kill the bad insects that harm the plant, after generations of applying pesticides the pesticides don't die off creating more pesticides than originally and now becoming unhealthy for human digestion.
